Cupcake SkinToday, my daughter asked me to remove the "skin" from her
cupcake. You know. . .the cupcake liner?

The BeginningThis is it. The beginning. I've ordered the business
cards and I'm creating the website. I'm a little nervous and a lot excited. I've been baking for years.
. . I started with cookies, then expanded my repertoire to desserts for special occasions. When my children were born, I dipped my toe in the deep end -
creative cakes. With creative cakes, the possibilities are endless. Now I let my children and niece and nephew
tell me what cake they'd like for their birthdays and I dive right in. Sometimes I don't know what the end result
will be; I let the cake decide. Other times, the cake has to be precise and I have a plan from the beginning.
Either way, the journey is always fun. I hope I can bring a little of the joy I get creating desserts to those who order
from Cake.
